Welcome to Inquizitive Helper (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We provide a Chrome extension that automates certain educational question‐answer workflows. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices regarding that information.

2.1 Account Information

When you sign up, we collect:

• Email address – to identify your account and communicate with you.
• Password – securely hashed for authentication.
• License key – to verify your subscription or trial status.

2.2 Question & Answer Data

To improve our question‐answer database and speed up responses, we store:

• Question hashes – anonymized identifiers of questions you encounter.
• Answer data – the correct solution or instructions you receive or submit.

This collective database helps return cached solutions when other users face the same question. No personally identifying information is linked to this question data.

2.3 No Analytics or Tracking

We do not collect any analytics data (e.g., usage statistics, browser activity) and we do not track your behavior outside of the functionality described above.

2.4 No Selling of Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

3. How We Use Information

• Authentication: To log you in and manage your license.
• Feature delivery: To retrieve and cache question‐answer data for faster loading.
• Support and communications: To send you important updates, security alerts, and account notices.

4. Data Storage & Security

All personal data (email, password hashes, license tokens) is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS). Question hashes and answer mappings are stored in our database without any user identifiers.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account information and question data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 9).

6. Third-Party Services

We do not share your personal information with any third parties except:

• Authentication providers (if you use OAuth – optional in future updates).
• Service providers bound by confidentiality agreements to help us host, store, or process data.

We do not embed any advertising or analytics scripts of third parties.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our extension is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have unintentionally collected information from a child, please contact us to request deletion.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
